One person is dead after being hit by an allegedly drunk driver on Belt Parkway early Monday morning. A man was killed this morning when a car crashed into a police cruiser responding to a previous accident on the Belt Parkway. Up to 10 vehicles may have been involved in the crash, authorities said. Authorities say the 35-year-old woman was discovered in the eastbound lanes of the roadway near Erskine Street in East New York around 3:20 a.m. Police said the investigation determined she was operating a 2016 Mercedes GLA 250 SUV, traveling eastbound on the Belt Parkway, when she exited the vehicle.
